Prague Polo Club pořádá v průběhu září sérii dvoudenních tréninků pro zájemce o koňské pólo. Těch se mohou účastnit i úplní začátečníci, kteří se s touto disciplínu chtějí seznámit v praxi. Soustředění se uskuteční v termínech od 14., 16., 18., 21. a 23. září. Probíhat budou v jezdeckém areálu v Hradištku u Sadské. A pozor! – K účasti nepotřebujete mít svého vlastního koně, jelikož koně vhodné pro pólo zajišťuje pořadatel v rámci ceny kurzu! Účastnický poplatek na osobu je 12.500 Kč vč. jídla a pití. Pokud tedy chcete zažít v našich krajích zatím zcela netradiční zážitek v sedle, neváhejte se přihlásit. The club is offering a variety of dates in September 2010 for beginners and intermeadiate polo players.
Each clinic is 2 days and will be run by professionals in a safe environment to allow you to learn or improve your polo.
The clinics will be held in Hradistko where we will use the excellent facilities of Mr & Mrs Pulpan, known for the famous Kinsky horse and dressage and jumping.
Dates are Sep 14-15,16-17,18-19,21-22,23-24
Price for 2 days 12,500 KC inc VAT,food and drinks

Polo in the Czech Republic

The club was the initiative of the current club president – Naveed Gill. Gill prepared the basis of the articles of the club, which can be found at the bottom here in both Czech and English.

Gill needed two other individuals to join him on the Club board and thus allow the Club to be born.  He was fortunate to get the support and commitment of his friend Robert Chelberg.

Chelberg is both an accomplished show jumping veteran and former Polo player.  Chelberg invited Premek Marek to join up alongside him. That was another stroke of luck for Gill.

Marek being a lawyer volunteered to help review the club articles, translate them in to Czech and submit them to the Czech Ministry of the Interior, to allow the club to be formally recognized. The club is now recognized.
